Important Component & Installation Notes
- Hazard Button Component: The replacement hazard button assembly we supply may or may not include the "Pass. Airbag Off" text marking. To prevent dashboard warning lights, we pre-configure a dip switch on the button's circuit board based on your vehicle's specifications. However, the physical plastic piece sent will be based on availability. If an airbag error appears after installation, it will need to be reset using a diagnostic tool (e.g., VCDS, OBDeleven).
- Required Adaptor (Not Included): To ensure proper sound output from the RSNAV device, some vehicles may require an 'Audi Aux to AMI' adaptor. We strongly advise purchasing this from Amazon or your local Audi dealer prior to installation.
- External Microphone (Included): All S5 models include a high-fidelity external wired microphone. For optimal performance of Bluetooth hands-free calling and voice commands, this microphone must be installed on the A-pillar or dashboard. This does not interfere with OEM microphone functions.
