Welcome to the RSNAV documentation hub. Everything you need to install, update, and troubleshoot your RSNAV system is here. We are currently selling the S5 Pro, S5 Ultimate, and S5 Standard systems — earlier products (S1, S2, S3, S4, and Standalone Smartphone Interfaces) are discontinued (legacy).

Software Updates
S5 Pro / S5 Ultimate
Follow the S5 Pro/Ultimate Software Update Guide for the complete procedure: pre-update photo backup, SYSTEM and MCU updates, Factory Default Restore, the Google Play Protect step, and Factory Config Import.
The latest firmware release is announced in Release Notes. Always read the release notes before downloading.
S5 Standard
S5 Standard updates are handled individually due to the smaller customer base and unit-specific configurations. Please email rsnav01@163.com with your order number and current software version, and we will send you the correct firmware along with instructions.
Legacy Systems (S1 / S2 / S3 / S4 / Standalone Interfaces)
These products are discontinued. Firmware is no longer maintained or distributed publicly. If you need a recovery image, the last known-good firmware, or installation help for a legacy unit, please email rsnav01@163.com with:
- Original order number
- Photo of the back of the device (model number sticker)
- Current software version (Settings → About)
- Description of the issue or what you need
We will respond as best we can, but please note that hardware repair and replacement parts for legacy systems may not be available.
Installation Manuals
The S5 Pro and Ultimate share the same chassis-level installation procedure as the S3 and S4 generations — only minor hardware revisions differ. The PDFs below were originally written for S4 hardware and apply directly to S5 Pro/Ultimate. Wiring connectors, mounting points, and disassembly steps are unchanged.

Compatibility & Pre-Purchase
Not sure which RSNAV variant fits your car? Start here:
- MMI Type Guide — identify whether your Audi has Concert/Symphony, 3G MMI, MIB, or another head unit type.
- If unclear, email rsnav01@163.com with photos of your car's interior (center console, head unit) and the head unit's software version (visible in MMI menus).
Troubleshooting
Common troubleshooting topics — for now, please refer to the relevant section of the S5 Pro/Ultimate Software Update Guide, which covers black-screen, garbled-display, boot-loop, missing-app, Wi-Fi/LTE, and brick-recovery scenarios.

Every firmware release is announced on the Release Notes blog, with download links and per-release highlights. Always read the relevant release notes before downloading and installing new firmware.
